OUR STORY
BRIDE
Natalie Hagedorn
GROOM
Matthew Linman
It’s a story like you might expect.
Matthew and I met because my roommate married his roommate and we met at their wedding.
Classic.
Matthew asked me on a date and afterwards I came home and told my roommates,“Well, that wasn’t terrible.” Second dates turned to FaceTimes, weekend garage sales, concerts, and shared playlists, and I called my mom and asked, “What happens if we don’t break up?”
Turns out, the answer to that is: you get married. That’s the short and sweet of it, and, like most stories, it has had highs and lows, celebration and heartache, laughter and tears - it’s been life. And that’s what has made it so ordinarily extraordinary.
But, our story really only matters in the context of the love that came before ours. The commitment, love, and faith my parents, Robyn and Gordon Hagedorn, have modeled for us and the joy, tenacity, and friendship that Matthew’s parents, Kathy and Tim Linman, have given us has truly shown us what it means to love unconditionally. We pray we could be so blessed to have a love like our parents.
Most importantly, the love that is patient, kind, forgiving, and always present that we experience daily from Jesus has met Matthew and I where we are, seen us for who we are, and He has loved us anyways.
We cannot wait to celebrate with you and we hope you leave our wedding saying, “Well, that wasn’t terrible.”
